The Lethbridge Hurricanes Hockey Club have re-assigned six players following the first weekend of the ENMAX Pre-Season in which the Hurricanes won one and lost one game against the Medicine Hat Tigers.
The Hurricanes announced that they have re-assigned defensemen Alex Cotton, Nolan Jones and Tyler Strath as well as forwards Shawn Harke, Evan Ladouceur and Dylan Cozens.
Harke will return to OHA Edmonton; Strath will report to the CFR Bisons Midget AAA in Strathmore; Ladouceur will return to Fort Saskatchewan Midget AAA; Jones will head to the Moose Jaw Generals of the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League; while Cotton and Cozens will both play for the Yale Hockey Academy.
The Hurricanes have a total of 28 players remaining including three goaltenders, eight defenseman and 17 forwards. Remaining are:
Goaltenders: Stuart Skinner, Brandon Kegler and Adam Swan
Defensemen: Calen Addison, Darian Skeoch, Ethan King, Nick Watson, Riley Shamray, Igor Merezhko, Kord Pankewicz and Brady Reagan
Forwards: Tyler Wong, Giorgio Estephan, Jesse Zaharichuk, Josh Tarzwell, Brett Davis, Jordy Bellerive, Colton Kroeker, Ryley Lindgren, Brayden Burke, Ryan Vandervlis, Egor Babenko, Jadon Joseph, Drayton Thunder Chief, Zane Franklin, Carter Folk, Connor Lyons and Jayden Davis.
The Hurricanes continue the ENMAX Pre-Season this Friday when they host the Swift Current Broncos at the ENMAX Centre at 7:00pm. Tickets are available for $10 and can be purchased through the Lethbridge Minor Hockey Association or at the door.
The Hurricanes will hold their 2016 Season Ticket Pick Up this Wednesday from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the ENMAX Centre. Individual game tickets for the 2016-2017 season go on sale on Thursday at 10:00 am.
