CROWSNEST PASS - The Lethbridge Hurricanes dropped a 4-3 decision to the Calgary Hitmen
in their final pre-season game of 2013.
Reid Duke, Russ Maxwell, and
Tyler Wong scored for the Hurricanes in a losing cause in this game. The
Canes finish exhibition play with a record of 3-1-1. Lethbridge went
0/8 on the power play, while the Hitmen finished the night 2/4.
Prior to
the game, the hockey club announced it had released forward Harrison
Harper and overage defenceman Spencer Galbraith.
The Hurricanes open the
WHL's regular season Friday at home (Sept. 20) when they host visiting
Medicine Hat.
