  1. Seems like a good scoring addition...feels like Ketlo will be gone and Fyton maybe done for the year....good pick up at first look...TD

  2. Pat,

Can we keep more than the 3 overage maximum players past Oct 12th as long as one is on IR? I assume we would just trade one of the 20 year olds prior to Fyten being activated to the roster.

  3. I heard rumors that Fyten will be out until Feb.
Looking like it might be true!

  4. Yes. I spoke to Rich Preston this afternoon. He said how long Fyten might be out will be known next week. He said he spoke to Ketlo and he knows the team is looking to deal him. Preston noted a few teams are in need of a good goalie. He said Marantz has some good numbers and he couldn't wait to acquire another overage player to fill Fyten's spot. Hope that helps.

  6. I would imagine that the game against Kootenay a couple nights back will likely be the only time Ketlo will play with the 'Canes?

After all, the overager deadline is now just two weeks away....

  7. I also heard the Fyten will be out for quite some time. The quote from Fyten I heard was "It's going to be quite a while." Hope to get a nice player or better yet, a nice draft pick for Kelto.

  8. To Brad: I think Ketlo might get into Saturdays game since it is the Pats that are in town. He should play like a man possesed against them and thereby slightly increase his trade value.
