Hurricanes to Pay Tribute To Canada's Military

The Lethbridge Hurricanes are home for a pair of games this weekend and both nights we’ll be raising awareness as well as recognizing our military.

Friday night at 7:0 0pm the Swift Current Broncos come to town for a game sponsored by Wesbridge Construction. It’s “Food Bank Night” and we’re asking all fans to bring a non-perishable food donation to the game or make a cash donation at the Food Bank table on the concourse. Tickets for the game are available through both the Interfaith and Lethbridge Food Banks who are selling vouchers for just $15 with proceeds being donated to both Food Banks. Vouchers will need to be redeemed at the ENMAX Ticket Centre for an actual game ticket.

On Saturday, the Hurricanes welcome the Edmonton Oil Kings for our annual “Military Appreciation Night” sponsored by the Lethbridge Herald. With the recent tragic events in our country, we ask that you show your support for our troops and your patriotism by wearing RED to the game and don’t forget your poppy. The cadets will be here both Friday and Saturday night and we’ll have a special pre-game ceremony to honour all military personnel. It’s also a special year in Lethbridge as the 20th Independent Field Battery will be celebrating its 100 year anniversary.

Tickets for these games and all regular season games are available by calling the ENMAX Ticket Centre at (403) 329-7328.
