Hurricanes/Broncos Alumni Golf Tournament July 6th

We’re less than three weeks away from the 6th Annual Lethbridge Hurricanes/Broncos Alumni Golf Tournament set for July 6th, 2012 at Paradise Canyon with a 1:00 pm shotgun start.

This event kicks off the celebration of the 26th season of the Lethbridge Hurricanes and once again reunites Canes of the past to get in a round of golf as well as reminisce and tell some great stories.

A number of alumni have already confirmed their attendance and you can expect to see the likes of: Carter Bancks, Mitch Versteeg, Rob Klinkhammer, Mark Ashton, Dan Iwanski, Charlie Mattersdorfer, Cason Machacek, Bob Bartlett, Nick Polychronopoulos, Brian Bosch and Mike Wuchterl.

Socializing and golf are a main part of the event, along with a number of great prizes and the auction of jerseys donated by alumni currently playing in the professional ranks. From the previous tournaments, we have raised over $40,000 with proceeds going towards the Hurricanes Education Fund and the new exercise room equipment. This year we will be adding new signage to the Hurricanes dressing room which honors Hurricanes of the past.
