The Lethbridge Hurricanes Hockey Club is excited to announce the 2016-2017
Home Opener will take place on Friday, September 23rd, 2016 at the ENMAX Centre
at 7:00pm.
It will be the sixth straight year that the Hurricanes will begin regular
season play against their Highway 3 rivals. The Hurricanes are 3-2-0-0 in the
last five season openers against the Tigers having defeated Medicine Hat 5-1 in
their Home Opener last year.
The reigning Central Division Champion Hurricanes posted an impressive 5-2-0 0 record against the Tigers during the 2015-2016 season and were a perfect 4-0-0-0 against Medicine Hat in Lethbridge at the ENMAX Centre.
