Sayers, a 1996-born defenceman from Prince Albert, Saskatchewan was the Hurricanes 3rd round (48th
overall) Bantam pick in the 2011 draft. In 84 career games with the
Hurricanes Sayers has 21 points (6G, 15A) and 56 penalty minutes. This
season he put up 10 points (2G, 8A) in 38 games.
“Bryton
has been a solid player for our hockey club. He’s a good character guy;
good in the dressing room as well as being excellent in the community” stated Hurricanes General Manager and Head Coach Peter Anholt.
The Lethbridge Hurricanes would
like to thank Sayers for all his hard work both on and off the ice and
we wish him the best as he continues his WHL career with the Victoria
Royals.
