All Quiet Still for the Hurricanes

As of 20 minutes to the trade deadline, still nothing from the Lethbride Hurricanes.

Rich Preston said last night that he was expecting to be active at the deadline today. I'll keep you posted here when something happens. I do expect once the deadline ends, a lot more activity from around the league will be announced. There was a big trade announced earlier between Kamloops and Calgary. Check Gregg Drinnan's blog for that. Swift Current also made a deal with Tri-City. So far though, the it's been quiet in Canes' Country. I suspect that's likely to change soon.

    I hear ya. Many people are on pins and needles waiting for any news. The next hour or so should be interesting!
