Hurricanes/Broncos Alumni Golf Tournament Sold Out

We’re pleased to announce the 6th Annual Lethbridge Hurricanes/Broncos Alumni Golf Tournament is SOLD OUT!

For the first time in tournament history, a record 33 alumni are attending with nearly a dozen new first-time alum also taking in the event.

More than 140 golfers will tee off in the tournament July 6th, 2012 at Paradise Canyon. This event kicks off the celebration of the 26th season of the Lethbridge Hurricanes and once again reunites Canes of the past to get in a round of golf as well as reminisce and tell some great stories.

Alumni confirming their attendance range from those who were part of the Lethbridge Hurricanes first year all the way to last year’s alum including: Jim Wheatcroft, Carter Bancks, Mitch Versteeg, Rob Klinkhammer, Brad Mehalko, Dan Iwanski, Cason Machacek, Bob Bartlett, Nick Polychronopoulos, Brian Bosch, Mike Wuchterl and Damien Ketlo.

Socializing and golf are a main part of the event, along with a number of great prizes and the auction of jerseys donated by alumni currently playing in the professional ranks. From the previous tournaments, we have raised over $40,000 with proceeds going towards the Hurricanes Education Fund and the new exercise room equipment. This year we will be adding new signage to the Hurricanes dressing room which honors Hurricanes of the past.
