The Lethbridge Hurricanes have taken Giorgio Estephan with the 4th overall pick in today's WHL Bantam Draft.
Estephan had 100 points in 32 games, including 43 goals and 57 assists with the Edmonton Southside Athletic Club this past year.
The Hurricanes will also have the 18th overall pick coming up in a bit.

ReplyDeleteHaving watched all but 4 of the games of the Alberta Cup, it marks the second straight year, that the Canes have snagged the best forward out of the players who took part. Not only is he a gifted goal scorer, but plays solid hockey both ways. Great selection! No sense trying to take players from BC who have already named the teams that they would only play for. Great pick!
ReplyDeleteCanes did not get the best forward out of Alberta. Should of looked closer to home. Georgio is a good pick but there is one better.
