After a one week break, the Hurricanes This Week podcast returned on Monday for another show.
Host Jordan Karst welcomed Hurricanes General Manager Peter Anholt and former Lethbridge Herald Sports Editor, Dylan Purcell to the program.
Plenty of talk on this edition of HTW about the recent WHL Trade Deadline and several moves made by GM Anholt.
I also stop by with an interview with one of the new players, Zak Zborosky, acquired at the deadline.
Also on the program is the long time Play-by-Play voice of the Saskatoon Blades, Les Lazaruk.

WHL needs to implement coaches challenge for off sides.
ReplyDeleteI understand that this is a development league, but it is ridiculous how bad the linesmen are in this league, and even more ridiculous how many games are decided by blown calls by linesmen.
Most recent example. Take a look at Fri, Jan 27, overtime game winning goal at 3:50 of Regina in Calgary highlight package. Not even close to being close. Linesman is right on the line watching when Wagner is at least five feet offside. Brutal!
