Hurricanes at Macs Tournament

The Lethbridge Hurricanes are excited to announce and wish to congratulate five of their prospects who will be suiting up at the prestigious Mac’s Midget AAA Tournament. 


Jesse Sheen, Jake Ashton, Ayden Roche-Setoguchi, Barrett Sheen and Connor Rokosh will all compete at the tournament starting Boxing Day.

 

Jesse Sheen, Jake Ashton and Ayden Roche-Setoguchi all play for the Calgary Buffaloes who have a record of 15-5-4 so far this season. Ashton, who was drafted in the 8th round, 162nd overall in 2013, has 22 points (14G, 8A) in 23 games for the Buffaloes. Sheen, another 2013 draft pick (7th round, 140th overall) has 11 points while 2014 5th round Bantam pick Ayden Roche-Setoguchi has 6 assists this season.

 

Connor Rokosh, a 1998-born defenseman, plays for the SSSAC Athletics who are 3rd in the AMHL Dodge Division standings with a record of 11-6-6. Rokosh played in three of the Hurricanes pre-season games before being reassigned to the Athletics in mid-September.

 

Barrett Sheen will suit up for the UFA Bisons at the tournament. UFA sits 4th in the AMHL’s Chrysler Division with a record of 11-11-4. Sheen, a list player with the Hurricanes has 9 goals and 11 assists for 20 points with UFA this season.

  1. Good luck to the midget Hurricanes in the Mac's tournament. I hope they meet with a lot of success there.

    Thanks Pat for giving us a place to brag, bitch and vent. Let us hope the Enmax has a good crowd on Dec. 27 to welcome the players back. (Or should I say thank them for coming back?).
