Canes & Cops Game This Sunday

Members of the Lethbridge Regional Police Service and Lethbridge Hurricanes are lacing up their skates for a free exhibition game this weekend.

The Cops and Canes game will feature mixed teams that include a combination of police officers and Hurricanes players. The game is set for Sunday, February 23rd at 3:00p.m. at the Civic Ice Centre (6^th Ave & Stafford Drive South) and is open to the public. The Police and Hurricanes will be collecting non-perishable food items to donate to the local food banks.

On the ice the teams will be battling for bragging rights and a special trophy, but off the ice Cops and Canes is an opportunity for the young players to connect with law enforcement officers and learn more about a career in policing. 

Members of the Police Service and Hurricanes will be available for media interviews at the game.
