The Lethbridge Hurricanes announced Thursday, the reassignment of defenceman Connor Sutton to the Okotoks Oilers of the Alberta Junior Hockey League.
Sutton was signed by the Hurricanes out of their 2012 Training Camp and while limited to just 12 games this season; he scored his first career WHL goal on December 12th against the Kelowna Rockets. He was also a minus-4 plus/minus rating and had 2 PIM’s this year.
Prior to joining the Lethbridge Hurricanes, the 18-year old 6’3, 215 lb. blueliner split his time in the AJHL with Spruce Grove and Calgary where in 53 games last year he had 13 points (7G, 6A) and 43 PIM’s.
The Hurricanes thank Connor for his contributions with the team and wish him the best going forward.
No surprise at all, other than why it was not done earlier. Harper should go next.
ReplyDeleteI don't expect Harper will be out of the lineup until Derko gets healthy. He's in there for his size.
