Hurricanes at Prince Albert Raiders

SASKATON, SK. - The Lethbridge Hurricanes get set for their final game of the season versus the Prince Albert Raiders tonight.

This is a huge contest for both teams. The Canes' and Raiders are tied with 45 points each and are just one point behind the 8th place Brandon Wheat Kings. Lethbridge has a record of 1-2 against P.A. this season with their only win coming in Prince Albert in shootout earlier on in the season. The Raiders handily beat the Hurricanes twice in Lethbridge a few months back, so the Canes' will be looking for a much better effort against P.A. this evening. The Hurricanes are 3-5-1-1 in their past 10 games while the Raiders are 4-5-0-1 in their past 10. There is a lot at stake for both teams in this game.

Lethbridge will be without the services of Austin Fyten for a second straight game. He will also miss Saturday's game in Saskatoon. Fyten is sidelined with an upper-body injury. From what I know it's nothing too series and Fyten should be back in the Hurricanes line-up next week. Certainly a big loss for the Canes' given the way he's playing as of late, but a chance for a few players to step up and try and fill the void this weekend. Lethbridge has 20 games left in the regular season. Next week they will play host to Regina, Prince George, and Red Deer with three games in four nights at the ENMAX Centre.

Gamr time tonight from Prince Albert is 6:00 (MST). The pre-game show on CJOC at 5:30.

Thanks,
Pat
