Hurricanes @ Swift Current

The Hurricanes will try and get back on track tonight in Swift Current.

The Canes' have just one win in their past seven games heading into this one. This will be the final game of a three-game set between these two teams over the passed six nights. The Broncos won the first two in regulation and have now opened up a four point lead on the Hurricanes in the Eastern Conference standings. With the Canes' dropping the first two against Swift Current, the importance of tonight's game is magnified that much more, especially for the Canes'. Lethbridge can get back two of those points with a win and close the gap a little more. A Swift Current victory and the Broncos will have a six point cushion over the Hurricanes. The Canes' though still have three games in hand on Swift Current, regardless of what happens tonight.

After this evening, these two teams will play one last time this season, that being a New Year's Day meeting in Lethbridge. The Hurricanes have a .500 record right now at 11-11-1-3 and sit in 7th place in the conference.

Game time tonight is 6:00 (MST). The pre-game show on CJOC at 5:30.

Thanks,
Pat
