Hurricanes Ready For "Pink in the Rink"

Anticipation continues to build for the 2nd Annual Hurricanes Pink in the Rink event, set to take place this weekend - November 19th and 20th as the Canes play host to Prince Albert and Saskatoon! This event will once again serve as an opportunity to raise awareness about breast cancer as well as raise funds for the Lethbridge chapter of the CIBC Run for The Cure in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. There will be prizes, raffles and contests both nights and everyone in attendance is encouraged to wear pink to support and recognize all those that are fighting the disease, those taken from us, as well as those amazing individuals who are survivors and family members of survivors. Earlier this week, the Hurricanes overage players helped in the reveal of specially designed pink jerseys that will be auctioned off in a silent auction at both the Friday and Saturday games. Proceeds from the jerseys will support the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. Along with the proceeds from the jersey auction, funds will also be raised through the intermission promotions and donations.
