CJOC Launches iPhone App

Lethbridge Hurricanes fans with iPhones can now listen to Hurricanes radio broadcasts on the go!

Today, 94.1 CJOC announced the launch of our new iPhone app. iPhone and iPod Touch users can go to the iTunes App Store, search for CJOC and download the app for free! This app allows listeners to do a lot more than just listen to our radio station. Listeners can get up-to-date local news and sports, event listings, photos, and links to Twitter and Facebook and more. Essentially, this is like a mobile version of CJOC's new website which went on-line a few weeks ago. Click on the title at the top of this blog post to link to iTunes for more information.

Enjoy!

Thanks,
Pat

  2. No. I don't believe they do. There is a delay listening on the app. Just like any internet radio stream out there whether it be on an app or listening online, there is a delay from the actual on-air LIVE content. The delay is about a minute.

  3. Hi Pat
We are planning on going to the season opener in Calgary on Friday. I was just wondering if you know how to get the cheapest tickets available-their tickets are so expensive! I've heard about the "Friends of the Hitmen" on Ticketmaster but can't seem to find the code. Or do they have any place to buy tickets like our Sobeys tickets? Just thought I'd ask you before we pay full price.
    Go Canes!!!!

  4. Here's what I've tracked down. There isnofriends of the Hitmen special for the home opener. The only “deal” is a family pack at any Calgary Co-op which is $59.99 for two adults, 2 kids, 4 hot dogs, 4 drinks and 1 medium popcorn. Hopefully that helps. That's the best I can do!
