Canes' vs. Tigers: Time to Say Good-Bye!

The Hurricanes wrap up their season this weekend with back-to-back games tonight and tomorrow against Medicine Hat.

Lethbridge is 2 and 4 versus their Highway 3 rivals this season. Their last meeting resulted in a 3-2 OT win for the Canes' on December 30th at the Enmax Centre. This game also marks Fan Appreciation Night which will once again be highlighted by fan giveaways and of course, the Hurricanes Annual Year End Awards Night. Eleven Player Awards will be given out eason in a special pre-game ceremony. Here's hoping there is a good crowd to give these players a fine send off. After tonight, there won't be another game at the Enmax Centre until around 8th of October as the Hurricanes will start the season once again this fall on the road for the first two or three weeks. As of April first, the Enmax Centre becomes a construction zone till late September.

The Hurricanes will also say good-bye and congratulations to their three overage players on this night - Linden Rowat, Dustin Donaghy and Captain Carter Bancks. All three will be a part of the Hurricanes Team Autograph Session following the game. To mark their graduation, all three of these players will have special silent auction items for sale on the main concourse with all proceeds going to the Hurricanes Education Fund. Items include a game worn and autographed Carter Bancks Jersey.
