The Lethbridge Hurricanes will try and get back on track tonight as they host Kelowna.
The Canes' have dropped six straight while the Rockets come into this game at .500 with a record of 29-29-2-3 in 63 games. These teams played a couple of weeks ago in Kelowna. The Canes' lost that game by one goal. The Rockets recently secured a playoff spot in the Western Conference and will begin defending their WHL Championship in mid-March.
For Lethbridge fans, this will be the first and only time the Rockets will play at the Enmax Centre this season and there are a couple of players the Canes' will have to keep their eyes on in this one. Defenceman Tyson Barrie leads the team in scoring and rookie Shane McColgan is ripping things up too. Despite being a -19, McColgan leads the Rockets with 24 goals. We can't forget about Brandon McMillan either who is third in Rockets' scoring. It should be a good one tonight.
Tonight's game is sponsored by Home Depot. I'll be on-location at the Lethbridge Home Depot store between 1pm and 5pm. Fans are encouraged to drop by the store today to pick up a special Home Depot button. Wear that button to tonight's game and have a chance at winning some Home Depot gift cards. The first 1000 fans in attendance this evening will get a Home Depot Horn. Hurricanes Season Ticket Holders should also note that this will mark the Canes' last Wednesday night game of the season and as with every Wednesday Regular Season game this season, Hurricanes Season Ticket Holders have the option of trading in any unused season ticket for a ticket to this game.
This is the start of three games in four days for Lethbridge. The Hurricanes host Kamloops Friday before travelling Saturday to Cranbrook to take on the Kootenay ICE.
Game time is 7 o'clock (MT). The pre-game show on CJOC at 6:30.
Thanks,
Pat
Play your game tonight Canes and finish this season with your heads held high.

It's too bad these last few games have been at the same time as Team Canada games. Crowds were small at Sundays game and will probably be worse tonight with the Russia game. Hopefully some fans will show up to cheer on the boys, we only have 2 weeks left of Captain Carter, lets enjoy it while it lasts!:)
