A little update for you on the Hurricanes goaltending siutation.
I chatted a bit with Head Coach/GM Rich Preston early this afternoon and he told me he's decided Ville Kolppanen will start in goal tonight for Lethbridge in Vancouver. He wants to give newly acquired netminder Linden Rowat a bit more practice time before throwing him into game action. Rowat practiced a fair bit today and will likely start tomorrow night when the Canes' play the Blazers in Vancouver.
From what I've seen so far in practice, Rowat looks pretty good.
