They were dominating one of the top teams in the league. In spite of the reffing. Cudos Boys!!
But are these boys getting ANY coaching? Looking at the benches during the radio break each period, noticed Tri-City coach with his board out talking to the boys. Our coaches were pacing up and down the bench with their hands in their pockets basically ignoring the boys who were talking among themselves! Possibly part of the problem?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-853267891466093489.post-38441700054140774152011-11-13T16:40:44.933-07:002011-11-13T16:40:44.933-07:00Would have been nice to see this game play out wit...Would have been nice to see this game play out without the lousy officiating. It never ceases to amaze me when the refs let go some really rough play, then call absolute NOTHING infractions.

Calling Watson for goaltender interference in a race for the puck was definitely Wee-wee league quality officiating!

Again in Calgary this afternoon, I didn't see the game, but TWO roughing calls on the SAME team at the SAME time for the first two penalties of the game?! REALLY? I rarely see roughing by one team that doesn't incite immediate retaliation by the opponent, so it has gotta be just another referee trying to be the game's first star. Disgusting!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
